Sun City Summerlin is a 55 year age-restricted community organized in the City of Las Vegas, by Del Webb Corporation in 1990, and is one of the nation’s premiere adult communities. The master-planned development is home to over 14,000 residents from all parts of the United States.

The community is organized into a community association, Sun City Summerlin Community Association, Inc., with reasonable governance and rules, to provide for the care and maintenance of the facilities in a cost effective manner, and to create an atmosphere which encourages new and old residents to maintain the active lifestyle they have sought by moving to the community.

Public bus transportation goes through Sun City Summerlin and a reduced senior fare makes it convenient to reach any Las Vegas destination.
